Prescribed Languages for Dissertations of Doctoral Degrees Students (Thai Language Programs)

Whereas it is expedient to have the National Institute of Development Administration Announcement on Prescribed Languages for Dissertations of Doctoral Degrees Students (Thai Language Programs);

By virtue of section 40 of the National Institute of Development Administration Act B.E. 2562, approval of the National Institute of Development Administration Council in its 10/2566 Meeting on 18 October B.E. 2566 and resolution of the Administration Committee of the National Institute of Development Administration in its 12/2566 Meeting on 27 December B.E. 2566, the languages to be used in dissertations of doctoral students (Thai language programs) are prescribed as follows:

No. 1. This Announcement applies to those registered to become students commencing in Semester 1 of the B.E. 2567 Academic Year.

No. 2. The languages to be used in dissertations of doctoral students (Thai language programs) are as follows:

(1) For doctoral programs (Thai language programs), students may complete dissertations either in Thai or English.

(2) For doctoral programs (Thai language programs), students shall have dissertation results published in a research article in English save for the Graduate School of Law and the Graduate School of Social Development and Management Strategy whereby students may have dissertation results published in a research article either in English or Thai.

No. 3. In case of any issue regarding interpretation of this Announcement, the Institute Administration Sub-committee shall refer it to the President for a decision, and such decision shall be deemed final.
